It's that time of year when there are sessions several weekdays, every weekend, sometimes even doubles! Fall is a great time for photos and so far we've been pretty lucky with the weather. I've had a few days where it has been miserable and we've had to reschedule, but so far it seems to be working out.
I have been enjoying seeing old clients and meeting new. Here is are some photos from recent sessions.

Hustle!
I first met this wonderful family on the field. My son signed up for a lacrosse clinic and the dad of this family was a coach. I was impressed with his high level of energy and the way he works with the kids. I don't think it would be easy corralling a group of young boys with sticks and helmets bigger than their heads to pay attention, but somehow he does it! My son was so pumped up and excited about the sport. Thank you Coach!
So, imagine my happiness when I found out he would help coach my son's soccer team! THEN, imagine my excitement when mom talked to me about doing a session. I mean, seriously... look at how cute the kids are!! And, sweet and considerate little people, too!
Now, I must admit I was a tad nervous about this session... I thought we'd be doing laps around the house, pushups, soccer or lacrosse drills. As a matter of fact my son told me I needed to be sure to wear my sneakers because he knew that Coach would always say something to the effect of "there is no walking on the field, hustle, hustle... only running on the field!!" Well, there were no push ups (although that would have been a cute picture, darn it... wish I would have thought of that), or running laps, but we did have a great time with a lot of energy. We had to keep moving because it was rather chilly and windy... I hope everyone thawed out.
THANK YOU for a wonderful session! I don't think your kids stopped smiling the whole time (even through the cold!) and I can see so much happiness and love in the pictures. You are a great family!

Recents
Busy busy busy!!!
I'm trying to keep up with posting sneak peeks for all of my great clients. Finding the extra time to blog is increasingly more difficult!! What a great end of summer it has been. Babies, one year olds, seniors, families and everything in between... here are a few recent sessions.

Senior Year
I really enjoy working with high school seniors. Capturing personalities in senior pictures is rewarding and fun for me, and hopefully for the seniors, too. I love hearing about their dreams for the future. This bright young lady was a joy and we had a grand time at Green Lakes State Park.
Best wishes!!! |

A perfect 10!
Where do I start?
This session was supposed to have happened a couple of weeks ago, but Mama had an injury that would have prevented her from being in the photos... so we waited. Boy, I'm glad we did.... the stars must have been perfectly aligned last night because I'm so excited about the images we got!
I showed up at beautiful Thornden Park and was greeted by a crazy, energetic newly turned one year old. He was ready to go, movin' and groovin' the whole time.
Mom and Dad were so laid back and easy going, which I think really shines through in the images. They are SO in love with their little guy and it was such a joy watching them interact with him. They are full of life!
Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a wonderful session. I hope you enjoy your photos as much as I do!

I have another series of acrobatics on my Facebook page. Dad was very talented - Mom was a gymnast, too, but we excused her from showing off her mad skills! |
This was one of the last shots... the light in the rose garden was PERFECT! |
