While in Charlotte I was lucky to have a session with these adorable boys! This little guy is so full of personality. Check out his terrific smile - it draws you in!
Following in his older brother's footsteps, the little guy is equally animated. There was hardly a dull moment during the session. Thought this series was very cute!
I think if these were my boys I would blow this one up really big - love everything about it!!! Thanks so much for the active and fun session! Your boys are super!

tired...

Just returned from a very fun and busy weekend in Charlotte. Family, baptism, cousins, swimming, eating, drinking, staying up way to late (for the youngest members of the group), sunshine... very enjoyable.

I was able to sneak in a few sessions while I was there and I've started downloading them.
Saw this and decided I just love it.


Many more sneak peeks to come, as well as a few of the adorable cousins we visited!
But for now, I'm tired. Good night!

When you're 1 and 2, you make the rules!

Well. Mr. Jacob certainly let us know who was boss last week. We had a casual little session in the backyard and Jacob, 2, wanted no parts of any organized photo session! Little does he know that I managed to get some pretty darn cute images anyway.



Attempt #37 at a family portrait. I just love how mom and dad are looking at Jake. Thinking we could fool him into sitting for a quick shot, we had just asked him to give his brother a kiss. He did it, but quickly retreated to what he was doing... enjoying a tasty bubble wand.

An awesome family extended...

I have been honored each summer for the past 3 years (or is this the 4th time?) to visit this family at their cottage up north.

They never cease to amaze me - they are so kind, caring, relaxed, go-with-the-flow, and loving. There are SIX kiddos in the family, certainly they get mad at one another or Mom and Dad get frustrated with them, but their kindness and love for one another always seems to trump any bad moods! I always enjoy my time with them.

This year, I was fortunate to meet some aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. Just as nice. Just as wonderful!

The grandparents of this group have so much to be thankful for. And, lucky for them they have grand kids with all colors of hair - red, tow-head blonde and adorable black curls! Love it!
Speaking of the grandparents... would you believe that these youthful people have been married for 40 years??? I couldn't believe it when they told me they were the grandparents of the group. I hope I look that great when I reach their age. Forty years is so awesome!! Congratulations.

We are family!

Spent the day a few days ago up at beautiful Sackett's Harbor to photograph a couple of families who vacation there.

First, an extended family that hails from MA and CT. Grandpa summered at the cottage as a child and now the rest of the family does, too.

Um, HELLO cuteness... this might be one of my favorite kid images I've taken all summer. Something about his smile and the way he's looking at the camera. Cute, cute!I really like this image... everyone doing their own thing.

Dad seems like he is totally into his boys (and his daughter, too). These boys are hockey players!

Ooop... same sweet girl??!! I have a feeling that this little 6 year old would be friends with my 6 year old if we lived in the same town. Very similar personalities!

L+B = married

Lindsay and Brian got married on a GORGEOUS August day surrounded by their many friends and family.

Always love checking out the flowers at weddings... Lindsay's bouquet was so colorful and lush. Love it!
It is very common for a new bride and groom to fiddle with their rings.

I had to work a bit harder to get some smiles out the brother, but I got some.

Always love a fun swing photo. I don't think her smile ever came off her face while I was there!

And, the little one... she NEVER stopped smiling! She was full of silly beans and giggles.
I think this shot is funny... I asked the little one to sneak around the back and give her brother and sister a big hug... I guess she missed the "back" part, but I do love the expressions on the older siblings. Cuties!

just beautiful!

The threat of rain didn't scare us, nor did the drops that were falling as we pulled into the parking lot of Chittenango Falls State Park. Nope, didn't scare us... the rain dried up and we found a killer field of wildflowers to play in.

I could go on and on about the great session we had... great girl, great mom and sister who came along to help (and we so helpful, thanks!), cool clothes and just an all around awesome personality from this beauty. She will be going places in life!!

11 days

Heaven! I got to hold a fresh newborn. So sweet, so soft so wonderfully amazing - babies truly are such a gift.

This little guy topped the scales at just over 11 pounds at birth. He's healthy and beautiful, and he was a champ at our session. Here are a few quick ones that I liked...

Center of their world... mom and dad adore the little guy. Not quite uncurled all the way yet.

A kiss from mama makes it all better.
He barely cried, he was so easygoing. This was as the end of our session, I think he was getting sick of me.
See, didn't I say he was a champ??? Easy baby + nice peaceful sleep = adorable baby shots!
