Baby Sister

This little guy blew me away with his language and vocabulary. He was a talking machine. He was a moving and grooving and smiling machine, too. Such a pleasant little guy. He was so excited to have a baby sister, loved holding her. His sister must have gotten some of his personality because she was a such a sweet little one.
Thanks so much for a fun session!!

A new crush!

What a great session with a very sweet family. The weather was cool, the lighting was beautiful and the setting was perfect. I have so many favorites - and I could spend all day going through them. Here is just a sampling of our evening together.

I am pretty sure I won the heart of the little guy in this family. I mean, I was invited to go to the beach next week with him, and, when I was leaving he told me he'd see me tomorrow. I must admit, I have a little crush on him!

Could little sister be any cuter??!

I love this one.
the kids were less than impressed with the smooching.
Thank you very much for allowing me to spend the evening with you. You have a beautiful family!

Feeling grouchy

cuties!
I loved the two sisters hugging - and the brother in the background!

big brother is saying "perhaps if I cover my eyes she'll put her camera away!!"
ha, ha! caught a smile!

I always enjoy seeing this sweet group of kids. We recently had a fun session at the pretty Mill Run park.  One little person wasn't too thrilled with picture day --- but I fooled him into a few smiles!!
Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your cuties yet again!!!

Two boys

I had the fun privilege of meeting these two cutie recently. Big brother was too much for words... certainly ran the show and let us know who was boss!!! LOVE his smile!
Little brother, 3 months old, was such a good sport -- pretty much went with the flow of things and then fell fast asleep as I was leaving.

Here are just a few that caught my eye...

Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your adorable boys!

A Rosey Session!

of course I love this one!

love, love, love.
Third time was a charm for this beautiful family. Inclement weather made us reschedule a couple of times, but I'm so happy for the way it turned out. This family was so fun to be around. We met at the Rose Garden in Thornden Park. The roses were still spectacular and there were so many fun places to traipse around and take photos. Gorgeous and fun loving mom + handsome and sweet dad = amazing little boy! What a great session! Thanks so much - looking forward to finishing your gallery.

Big Kids

I was fortunate enough to spend a hot and humid evening with this super group of "big kids" recently. We were all sweating within minutes, but these guys were great sports and didn't complain. Quite a nice group of siblings, they all seem to like and respect each other.

I put the only girl on the spot with a question  - of her three brothers which one would she choose, if she could only choose one, to take with her to a deserted island? Who is the strongest, biggest, best, smartest, etc... ? She decided she'd have to take all of them -  she couldn't choose just one. What a nice sister!

Oldest brother... forging the way for the rest of the group.

pretty in both black and white
and in color.

the youngest. he has the house to himself in a few weeks when his siblings go back to college!

The middle guy. Lacrosse star.
I personally thought that standing in front of the "men" bathroom sign was a cute idea. I'm glad they played with it!

Thank you very much for bearing with me and being so wonderful to work with! Best of luck as a new school year starts.

May the Force Be With You!

When I arrived at the house for photos, the newly turned 5 year old was playing with an awesome Star Wars Lego toy, just built that day. He spoke my language, since my son (newly 6 years old) is a Star Wars Lego guy, too.

Despite thinking about his toy the whole time we took pictures, we were able to capture some fun moments with this sweet family. I think I outstayed my welcome with the 5 year old because as the babysitter pulled up (mom and dad had a date night), he said "I guess you're going home now!"

Thanks so much for having me over!
nature is beautiful!

Amazing eyelashes!

50 years!

I was recently lucky enough to spend some time with a beautiful couple celebrating their 50 year wedding anniversary. The three grown sons and their families traveled from NYC, Boston and San Francisco to be with their parents for this joyful occasion. We all know that married life consists of many ups and downs, but it was easy to see how this couple has persevered for 50 years. Their love for each other and their family was very palpable. As a matter of fact, when I asked the couple to give me an idea of what 50 years together was like, the husband choked up and started to cry. So very sweet.
This is 50 years together!
I love looking at old wedding albums.

Such a warm and loving embrace.

The super grandkids! One sole girl with all those boys!

The Wilson Tartan Plaid vests that all of the men donned. Very dapper!
Raise your glass to 50 years!
Thank you for inviting me to capture a bit of your beautiful life together. Congratulations on 50 years together and best wishes for many more to come!!

Bee Stings!

This lovely family signed up for a nice, normal photo session with me. We met at the gorgeous Pratt's Falls and started the session by the little pond. The boys were running around, I was snapping pictures when all of the sudden Mom thought she was stung by something. A minute later we were running for our lives (!) because, indeed, she has stepped on a ground hive of ANGRY ANGRY bees. She got stung again and so did I. Luckily, neither of the little guys got stung. Whew. What drama!!!

The rest of the session was back to normal, although Mom and I freaked out every time we heard a bug go whizzing by!!

Great family, full of love for each other and for the two adorable boys.

Big brother doing his best Chick Hicks (CARS) face. Pretty good!
Lovin' from Mama.

cute, cute family.
Love this image...
Many thanks for a fun and eventful evening!

Baby.

I named this post "Baby" for two reasons. First, there is a new baby on the way in later this summer. Can't wait to meet him/her. The other reason, and perhaps the more important one at the moment, is that my new little friend, who just turned 2, can sing the chorus of Justin Bieber's "Baby" like any Bieber-Fever fan can. Love.

Well. Not sure what I can say about this family, but awesome! Loved, loved their energy, attitudes, way of life... easy going, fun, full of love and laughter. Isn't that what gets us through life??!

Flying through life is good!
Something about this I loved - ruffles, barefeet, belly...

hiding

soon!

I don't think she knows she's cute, do you??!
Many thanks for having me over. Looking forward to our next session!
