Addie graduated from her first year of nursery school this week. We had such fun seeing her learn and grow. I have a stack of "projects" that we'll save and from this year. One of the most notable differences I have seen from the beginning of the year to now is how she "reads" her books. Now she loves to look at every page and tell the story, either from memory if it's a well-loved book, or from what she sees in the pictures. The inflection (is that the right word??) in her voice as she reads is so cute, and she usually holds the book outwards as if she's reading to a class! She also loves to play "show and tell," which is something they did at school each day.
Oh, we'll miss school this summer for sure... and we'll be waiting for Sept to come. Oh yea... we also will need to buy a new bookbag as the squirrels ate a hole in hers a few weeks ago. The left-over snack was too tempting for them!
