Long blonde hair

My latest client is a gorgeous woman with long blonde flowing hair. Isn't she just so pretty!
Everybody needs a lovey, a blankie, a comfort item. For Tanner it is her moose. Love it!

zinnia

My mom is growing beautiful zinnias in Ohio and I came home from our trip to be rewarded with my own large, healthy plants full of buds. Yea! I think next year I will take more time with them and have them all over the yard. I just love them.

Life of a Three Year Old

Poor Jack. Last week he received his first bee sting. Right between the eyes on his forehead. I'm sure it hurt. He took it like a champ, cried and then forgot about it. He called it his "bee bite."

Forward to today while we were at the park... playing, running, banging on the metal tubes that kids crawl through and... GOT STUNG AGAIN. This time, on his right pointer finger. I think it was a wasp, actually. Poor Jack. He took it like a champ, cried and now has forgotten about it!

Funny story about him, too. Last night we were eating our dinner which was pork, couscous, corn and grilled zucchini (for mom and dad). Jack ate the pork and about two bites of couscous and said he was full. Dada told him he needed to eat all of his couscous or no dessert. So, he started eating it again. He finished and proudly exclaimed, "I ate all my beefbeef!!!!!"

We died laughing!!! So funny!!!!

Working on some pictures from a family of four -- stay tuned for pictures.

Callie & Matt

Wow! What a fun couple. And Wow! What a beautiful couple. Can't wait for Callie and Matt's wedding in October. Callie wanted to meet at her childhood park for her engagement session. We traipsed all through the beautiful park and found lots of fun spots to take photos. Here are just a few of my favorites. Wow.

this one reminds me of a scene from The Princess Bride for some reason:
love, love, love this one:
Can't wait until your wedding! Cheers!

and more favorites

I'm on day 2 from our trip last week.... found a couple more images I love.

I don't know where Corenzo was... too bad...

Gabby: "Hey Addie, I like your skirt."
Addie: "Thanks!"

Picking out some favorites

Some favorite Addie pictures from Ohio.

Oh, there are more to come... I have only just begun looking through/editing the photos.

Val is at the hospital right now---- I knew that would happen. Two days after we left and she is having the baby. Oh well... I'm sure the baby will see my camera at some point in his/her young life. I'll keep you posted.

Final Ohio post

Our week in Ohio is almost over as we head home tomorrow. What a week it has been! Since the last update we have listened to concert music on Nene and Papa's back deck AND stayed up very late to watch the fireworks, played with new friends, visited a children's museum, went to a firehouse celebration and had dinner at Great Pop's house.... whew!

The stylish Anna and Jess --- and see, Jess can jump, too!!!!

Fire Chief Papa
Addie takes it all in...

I have TONS of pictures to go through when I get home. Stay tuned!

send baby vibes this way

My sister-in-law is due any day now... we need some baby vibes sent this way so that she will go into labor and have the baby before we head home on Monday. Please, Baby, please!!!! Come out, come out!!!

Meet Corenzo

This is our cousin, Lorenzo. Jack calls him "Corenzo." Watch out! He has connections to the Mafia and you need to stay on his good side.

We are in Ohio visiting family. What fun we're having!! Swimming, swimming and more swimming, playing with cousins, visiting aunts, uncles and grandpa. I'm taking lots and lots of pictures - here is one showcasing Liz's jumping abilities!
I'm off to go shopping with my cousins today! Can't wait.
More later...

Dodging the weather on a wedding day!

Boy, did we luck out! The skies were threatening and it was overcast and rumbling, but I don't think we actually got rained on during Olivia and Cristian's beautiful wedding day.

Olivia has excellent taste in flowers (I always critique the flowers since I work for Backyard Garden Florist). The reception was at the Hotel Syracuse and it was my first time there... wow! The ballroom was just gorgeous with white linens and white chairs (my favorite!). Olivia obviously spent a lot of time with details - gorgeous table numbers, florals, favors, and the cake was so beautiful!
I don't think Olivia stopped smiling the entire evening. Dancing with Dad and dancing with her new husband!!!!

Congrats!

new bed

Addie has been sleeping in a big girl bed for some time now. However, we finally purchased a "bed" for her and it is so darn cute in her room! She loves it! Next, Jack's room. He will use Addie's crib headboard, which fits his room perfectly (cherry color). He has a firetruck quilt that we need to use!!! Stay tuned.

she is the queen

I've been trying to organize and clean up my files of personal pictures and I ran across this one from a few weeks ago. Which do you like, the color or b&w?
She is the queen -- messy hair and all! I love, love this smile/expression on her face... even if she looks old and is growing way too fast.

Maybe more in a bit...

Too cute for this little two year old!

Mr B had his mama and me running all over Green Lakes today! What a cutie he is!
What more could I ask for --- green Crocs, barefeet, a big budda belly and ALL BOYness - water, rocks, sticks.
He is also a kid who knows what he wants... here he is directing us to the playground! I think his mother's words were, "he knows the lay of the land" at Green Lakes - we couldn't fool him into anymore pictures!!

Thanks for a fun session!!!

She's baaaack!

Dada and Addie (and Ruby) took a nice little trip to DC over the 4th of July weekend. They had a ball visiting Quinn, Christi, Avery and Poppy --- Addie was excited about getting to feed and help bathe Avery. They walked to the zoo, saw hippos, elephants and the like. They grilled out on the roof and saw the fireworks in DC. Lots of fun!

Now, SHE'S BAAAAAAACK!And Jack is very happy to have his loud, fun and playful sister home!

Happy July 4th

Lots of pictures to post today.... and lots going on here!

Nene was here last week. We had fun visiting and playing with her. Thanks for coming Nene!!

Dada and Addie are in DC this weekend to celebrate the 4th with Quinn and Christi (and Avery, AND Poppy!). Although we miss them, it is a nice little break. The difference in the kids' personalities is so evident when you're just dealing with one of them. Jack is pretty mellow (even if he NEVER stops talking!) -- played almost the whole day outside - TV was turned on for 1/2 hour and that was it -- goes with the flow, doesn't challenge what I say (usually)....it's been fun.

And now for some red, white and Jack pictures!!
