Waiting for baby...

I had no idea how much fun I was in store for when I showed up to this wonderful family's home. My job was to capture some maternity photos, with big brother and dad in the mix (oh, and the dogs and the chickens!). This family was so relaxed, so natural, so alive, so loving -- they made my job so easy and I am thrilled with the images!

First up, rescued turtle. Brand new to the family - the boys (dad and son) had just arrived home when I got to their house and were so proud that they found this poor guy on the road. He had a few scuffs on him, probably nicked by a car. Instead of leaving him behind, they saved him and brought him home. I believe he was named "shell!"

Good dogs! Happy dogs!

Happy happy little man. Three years old and he probably knows more about bugs than I do. He carried little snails around with him for half the session and was intrigued by all of the beautiful nature surrounding him.
Speaking of beautiful...
Speaking of loving...
I have a feeling T is going to be a great big brother.
Whose belly is bigger??? Love it!

Hello Mr. Rooster (I hope I'm correct that this is the rooster!!!). I was told he crows at 4:48am. Oh my!
Good morning!!

I really enjoyed this family! Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your sweet, sweet life!

Friday fun family!

I met this family on a Friday night and I think we all deserved a fun night out afterwards!! Gorgeous weather, gorgeous people, gorgeous yard, bubbles... what more can you ask for??!!

Hello cutie pie!! Loved her spunk and personality (and her bow!).

Bubbles were a big hit...

A little love for Mom... I adore the way Mom's hands are holding her son's hands.

Just hanging out with Dad.

A little swing time...

The kids were spent by the end of the session (I kept saying, "oh, one more thing... " I wore them out!)... but they had a few more in them. I'm pretty sure we were bribing them with more bubbles at this point, but I love it!

Thanks for allowing me to capture your lovely family!

Three brothers and a cousin

These kids were great! All boy (s). All the time!
Their young cousin was visiting from Texas and we were able to squeeze in a nice session.
The youngest -- isn't he too cute. He looks so adorable!

The middle. I love middle children because I am one myself!

Love the missing teeth in the oldest brother's smile.

Love the dangling feet. I am surprised there aren't any dirty knees... this was taken at the beginning of the session, which is probably why everyone is still clean.

And now, for the special guest all the way from Texas... so smiley, so girly, so so so adorable!! The boys loved her and she just smiled and smiled for them!

I believe this was one of the last photos we did... the boys were DONE and I asked them to do just a few more... LOVE the grouchy faces!Thank you!! I really enjoyed our session!
