Two fun and ADORABLE girls

Cuteness! These two gals met me at Green Lakes last night and what a lovely night it was. We had fun traipsing around the lake and the beautiful trails. Here are just a few pictures that caught my eye as I was quickly going through them.

I'm looking forward to editing your gallery. Thanks for being such good troopers!

Robin and Doug's wedding

Robin and Doug picked a gorgeous fall day to celebrate their wedding. They chose to see each other prior to the ceremony so that the "formal" pictures could be taken ahead of time... they definitely wanted to be at their cocktail hour. I always love watching the bride and groom's behavior toward each other on their wedding day... a quick glance or a little kiss now and then is just so sweet. Doug certainly had the glances down:

And a tender little moment during their first dance...

Genevieve and I set up the photo booth service during the reception...
A studio setup with lights and props = a rocking good time! Young and old got in on the fun... how much do you love these images???!!! So darn cute.

Best wishes Robin and Doug!

Baby in the forest

Ok, so not really the forest, but beautiful Mill Run park. Such a wonderful park to spend the afternoon - go for a walk, stop to look at the beautiful scenery, the water, the moss, the leaves that will soon change to yellow, red and orange... great spot for pictures.

What a peaceful little guy. I just loved him. He didn't mind my basket, even allowing me to put him on his tummy for a few shots. In and out of sleepy slumber, but never making a fuss. He is the fourth child, so I think he knows that his job is to just be the easy baby who goes with the flow!

Had to get a barefoot shot --- as we were counting toes the older brother told me that there are now EIGHT feet for the kids in their family (smart kiddo!).

Thanks for the fun evening. I just love your little family!

book now for fall!

This is a quick little message to let you know that my fall calendar is getting quite busy. I will be taking weekend session appointments on a limited basis - weekday sessions will have a tad more flexibility. My standard session pricing will stay the same, but there are going to be a few changes in extended family/print/CD package/storyboard pricing. I will be posting the new pricing as well as a fall "special" on my blog and website soon. Additionally, I will be sending emails to all of my current clients. If you would like to be added to the email list, please send me a message at info@stephanieantshel.com.
Thanks!

breathtaking...

How lucky am I???? I love my job, especially when I get to meet such wonderful people as I did tonight. Throw in a boat ride on gorgeous Skaneateles Lake and I'd call that a great day "at the office!!!"

This beauty is not just drop dead gorgeous on the outside, but she is a darling young lady full of personality, spunk and charm. We took a boat ride first - it was a perfect night. I thought this picture could handle a little "opaque-ish" tone.

Uhm, hello?? Beautiful.

I loved how mom and daughter interacted... I sensed great joy, respect, lots of laughter and such love in their relationship.

Thank you so very much for inviting me to capture a glimpse of your lives.

Charlotte and Beaufort

I love visiting Charlotte! It is such an easy flight from Syracuse and such a beautiful city to pow around. The shopping is pretty darn good (great sales this time!!) and we just love our cousin Avery!

I've been fortunate to do some sessions for great families in my past visits and this one was no exception. I very quickly perused the images and CAN NOT wait to get home and start editing this session --- two adorable boys, gorgeous lighting, a crisp white outfit, beautiful mom and dad... a dream!! Here is a brief glimpse --
Thanks SO much!

Now, we're off to Beaufort to enjoy some Low Country action (which basically means sitting on the dock watching the world float by!)... I'm ready for a little r&r, it has been crazy lately.

See you after Labor Day!

a session in the rain

I wish it didn't rain during this session last week - the family lives in an old beautiful farmhouse with lots of land, flowers and perfect little spots for pictures. But, alas... the rain got us!

Three generations were represented at this shoot... the grandparents are totally smitten with their two grandsons.

Here is the oldest:

And the youngest (just one month!)

This guy loved looking at his reflection on the glass door. Check out that gorgeous red hair! Whew - Cutie!

He also enjoyed a little dance with his aunt who lives far away. He is a happy guy!

Thanks so much for having me out. I really enjoyed meeting you!
