A Rosey Session!

of course I love this one!

love, love, love.
Third time was a charm for this beautiful family. Inclement weather made us reschedule a couple of times, but I'm so happy for the way it turned out. This family was so fun to be around. We met at the Rose Garden in Thornden Park. The roses were still spectacular and there were so many fun places to traipse around and take photos. Gorgeous and fun loving mom + handsome and sweet dad = amazing little boy! What a great session! Thanks so much - looking forward to finishing your gallery.

Big Kids

I was fortunate enough to spend a hot and humid evening with this super group of "big kids" recently. We were all sweating within minutes, but these guys were great sports and didn't complain. Quite a nice group of siblings, they all seem to like and respect each other.

I put the only girl on the spot with a question  - of her three brothers which one would she choose, if she could only choose one, to take with her to a deserted island? Who is the strongest, biggest, best, smartest, etc... ? She decided she'd have to take all of them -  she couldn't choose just one. What a nice sister!

Oldest brother... forging the way for the rest of the group.

pretty in both black and white
and in color.

the youngest. he has the house to himself in a few weeks when his siblings go back to college!

The middle guy. Lacrosse star.
I personally thought that standing in front of the "men" bathroom sign was a cute idea. I'm glad they played with it!

Thank you very much for bearing with me and being so wonderful to work with! Best of luck as a new school year starts.

May the Force Be With You!

When I arrived at the house for photos, the newly turned 5 year old was playing with an awesome Star Wars Lego toy, just built that day. He spoke my language, since my son (newly 6 years old) is a Star Wars Lego guy, too.

Despite thinking about his toy the whole time we took pictures, we were able to capture some fun moments with this sweet family. I think I outstayed my welcome with the 5 year old because as the babysitter pulled up (mom and dad had a date night), he said "I guess you're going home now!"

Thanks so much for having me over!
nature is beautiful!

Amazing eyelashes!

50 years!

I was recently lucky enough to spend some time with a beautiful couple celebrating their 50 year wedding anniversary. The three grown sons and their families traveled from NYC, Boston and San Francisco to be with their parents for this joyful occasion. We all know that married life consists of many ups and downs, but it was easy to see how this couple has persevered for 50 years. Their love for each other and their family was very palpable. As a matter of fact, when I asked the couple to give me an idea of what 50 years together was like, the husband choked up and started to cry. So very sweet.
This is 50 years together!
I love looking at old wedding albums.

Such a warm and loving embrace.

The super grandkids! One sole girl with all those boys!

The Wilson Tartan Plaid vests that all of the men donned. Very dapper!
Raise your glass to 50 years!
Thank you for inviting me to capture a bit of your beautiful life together. Congratulations on 50 years together and best wishes for many more to come!!

Bee Stings!

This lovely family signed up for a nice, normal photo session with me. We met at the gorgeous Pratt's Falls and started the session by the little pond. The boys were running around, I was snapping pictures when all of the sudden Mom thought she was stung by something. A minute later we were running for our lives (!) because, indeed, she has stepped on a ground hive of ANGRY ANGRY bees. She got stung again and so did I. Luckily, neither of the little guys got stung. Whew. What drama!!!

The rest of the session was back to normal, although Mom and I freaked out every time we heard a bug go whizzing by!!

Great family, full of love for each other and for the two adorable boys.

Big brother doing his best Chick Hicks (CARS) face. Pretty good!
Lovin' from Mama.

cute, cute family.
Love this image...
Many thanks for a fun and eventful evening!
