Four...

I had a lot of fun at this session - yet another high energy session with four kiddos. We played a game of hide and seek and the boys are good hiders - and really fast runners.... they hid, I found them, they ran and hid again, then I lost them because they kept running to a new spot - it was anarchy!!

It was a cloudy day with a light drizzle... making for very wet picture conditions! The sun peeked out for all of 2.2 minutes and I saw the older sister in a perfect spot. I like this photo in color, too... but there is something about the grainy b&w that I love.

Tender big brother with little Miss C who had the BEST smiles -so cute! Big bro is so sweet.

And here is Mr. A... whooooooooooooooooooooo was a tad "off" according to mom. Guess why??? Well, mom called me today and said the poor guy has a fractured something (shoulder/collarbone, something around that area). What a tough little man! I hope he's feeling better soon. Had to keep this one in color to show off his gorgeous eyes.

Thanks so much!

Three...

Three sisters on a gorgeous gorgeous fall day! These girls were great - lots of fun and energy at this session.
The oldest sister was so kind to her younger sisters (probably not always the case). I didn't hear one negative word toward them and she was very, very helpful with the youngest. I bet she is an AWESOME babysitter! So pretty, too.
Love the middle one's spirit. So nice to her sisters, too. AND... did I mention that she's super smart? The girls had barefeet and at one point I asked how many toes there were and without skipping a beat she replied, "30." There is something about this picture... I love it! I wonder what she's thinking?

Hello sweet little youngest sister. You are so cute and, my, how you enjoy your big sisters! You are lucky to have such a nice family.

Leaf fight!

LOVE this one... love it, love it. Thanks for having me over on this beautiful day.
Cheers!

We are better!

No more swine flu for us! Hip hip hooray! It was a loooooooong week at home, but luckily we had some mild weather and were able to get outside and get some fresh air.

Things are definitely back to normal!!!

Suey, Suey... pig, pig, pig... we have swine flu.

I am certainly not making light of the situation, but i am not getting too worked up about it. It is official. We have swine flu. I have not been one to buy into the media hype of situations like this...
I understand that one needs to be cautious and concerned (both of which I am), but I'm not going to freak out about it. We have swine flu. The kids have high fevers, Jack is very cough-y/sniffy, Addie is a bit tired tonight. Both are still "themselves." I will monitor them closely, but we are fine. What a strange name for the flu... Swine flu. Call it Pig flu, I think that sounds better! Or, Bacon flu. At this point I will take this flu over the traditional vomiting and what-have-you... we got it early (so early in Addie that she actually tested NEGATIVE, but with her high fever the doctor is convinced she has it). They are fine. We will be laying low for the next few days.

Here they are in their silly glory... this is what I get for suggesting a "photo-session" in the back yard the other day... just silly!

Addie has wanted these boots for a long time. I think they are adorable on her and she wears them ALL.THE.TIME. No, they aren't Uggs... I didn't splurge. She's only 5 after all!

super cool family (and socks)

I just love this little family. I met them last year and was so excited to see them again. We picked a lovely, but chilly night and had fun exploring the backyard. The boys are as cute as I remember them and older brother just had so much to tell me.

Aren't they cute?!Mom loves argyle socks and I loved her idea to put them on for a few shots. This is my kind of family shot! Love it. Little brother (one year old) is trying to escape and practice his walking skills. Watch out for this vicious dog. I hear he likes trash and all things naughty!!Thanks guys!

A session at the pumpkin patch

I'm a tad behind in blog posting... it's been busy!

These three little ones (triplets) braved a VERY chilly Sunday morning and explored wonderful Critz Farms with me. It felt more like a winter day than mid-fall, but nonetheless they did what kids do best. From feeding the goats to checking out the new animal barn to climbing all over the playground... they had fun!

Thanks for inviting me to come along. Stay warm!

All boy (s)...

A family full of boys. Mom told me she grew up with all sisters - quite a change for her, I'm sure! I can't believe how much patience she must have with a teenager, a tween and a ONE YEAR OLD!!! Whew!

As you can imagine, the one year old pretty much runs the house. He wasn't too interested in sitting for pictures so we tried all kinds of things to make him laugh... I thought these were super cute.

Taking after his older brothers, the little guy likes football, too.
Speaking of football, it was fun to find out that we have common friends --- small, small world. I really enjoyed meeting you and your lovely family.

6 month old fun in the fall

Here is Baby J - he's 6 months old enjoying his first season of fall. He is such a little cutie pie.
Sweet, sweet little guy - loves his Daddy playing outside with him.
He was very curious about the outdoors and me/my camera and he wasn't sharing his smiles as much as we wanted... what to do? Tickle attack!!!
Thank you Baby J... that's what we wanted!!!!
Thanks Mom and Dad for sharing your bundle of love with me... I'm looking forward to your book!

Happy Birthday Big Guy B

I first met this little (big) guy when he was just a newborn. I have enjoyed watching him grow over the year and capturing bits and pieces of his first year. He is one handsome little guy with gorgeous blue eyes, silky blond hair and an awesome one-year-old smile!

He loves his mama...

... and a game of peek-a-boo behind dada's legs.

... and a super fun "face!" Happy Birthday Big Guy!

What a wardrobe!

This little one has the bounciest, cutest curls on her head, the biggest, prettiest eyes AND a wardrobe to die for!!! Mom brought several things to try and we used about 4 outfits! Loved them all, ESPECIALLY this one.

Her shoe fell off (while wearing an adorable chocolate brown dress) and she exhibited her great balancing skills when trying to put it back on.

Another super cute outfit - who doesn't love a tutu???

It was so much fun meeting Miss A. She is wonderful!

LOVE these kids

Can't say enough great things about this awesome family. Loved them.... all three kids are full of spunk! This was a high energy session on what turned out to be a gorgeous fall evening. Half an hour before the session there was a rainstorm.... such frustrating weather!

Here we have a future football star... check out his form!!!!! This guy is ALL BOY!!! Loved his energy.

Does she not scream "big personality??!!" She is such a doll.
Hello cuteness. There is always something special about the baby of the family. I just want to eat him up he's so cute!
I LOVE this picture -- behind me, Dad was apparently doing some ridiculous dance to get the kids to smile... The look on Miss G's face is priceless!!!

It worked, though...

The kids were so sweet and they even invited me to stay for dinner! Next time, guys!!!
Thanks so much!

Nicole and Greg were married this past weekend, on a gorgeous perfect fall day (after a week of miserable weather!). Their wedding was so beautiful. I'm loving so many of the images from the day. Here are a few quick peeks...
Nicole's two best friends served as maid and matron of honor. Moments before they headed down the aisle I caught this cute moment of the three of them taking it all in!

The girls looked like straight out of a magazine... gorgeous!!
One of my FAVES of the year:

I can't wait to spend more time with the images! Oh, what a beautiful day! Best wishes Nicole and Greg.
