Chunky sweater

Fall is such a sensory season. The gorgeous colors of the leaves, the smell of wood burning fireplaces on chilly evenings, the crunch of dried leaves underfoot... there is so much beauty to the season. When families ask what they should wear for photos I usually comment that "chunky sweaters" are great for kids this time of year. Corduroy and denim, clothing with texture to it. This little guy was right on mark with his sweater (s). They photographed so nicely - and his sweaters help make each image a "fall" image.

We met at the beautiful Green Lakes State Park on a lovely evening.

Love love love this one... beautiful eyelashes!!

See what I mean about his sweater -- perfect!

I know I'm obsessing about it, but look at the patch on his elbow. Love it.

This family had never been to Green Lakes so we walked down the trail a bit... it can get a bit dark for photos on the trail in the late afternoon, but I love how the light is illuminating them here.

Thank you, sweet little man, for a nice session!Happy Fall!!
